The Springwater News is a biweekly Community Newspaper. It is privately owned by a local family who have been members of the community for more than three score and ten. 

We print 20,000 papers biweekly on Thursdays. The deadline is three days prior to publication dates.

18,900 are mailed out by Canada Post to every home in Tiny and Springwater Township plus parts of Essa, Oro-Medonte and Tay Townships, at least 2500 go into Barrie with some within the boundaries of Midland and Penetanguishene.

There are 24 pages of tabloid size 11 x 17 with 1/2 inch borders leaving an aea 10 x 16 on each page for ads and editorial.

We publish community news and anything that will affect the residents of the above area.
